Meet the new Instructor of Kumon McKinnon Education Centre

Kumon McKinnon Education Centre, in Melbourne’s southeast, is now operating under the guidance of a new Instructor, Airin Angkadjaja.

Airin is an experienced Kumon Instructor who previously ran a centre in Altona Meadows. She chose to become an Instructor after seeing the benefits of Kumon in her own daughter.

“Sixteen years ago, I made the decision to become a Kumon Instructor,” Airin says. “At the time, my daughter was a very shy three and a half year old. I wanted to help her build confidence. I enrolled her in Kumon, and witnessing the positive changes in her motivated me to pursue this path as an Instructor.”

Along with her own daughter, Airin has seen many students grow and develop academically through Kumon’s support. She looks forward to helping the McKinnon community.

“The self-discipline, confidence, self-learning habits, and skills students develop through Kumon are invaluable”, Airin says. “These qualities not only prepare them academically but also equip them with the resilience and determination needed to overcome obstacles, seize opportunities, and excel in various aspects of life.”

Classes at Kumon McKinnon operate on Monday and Thursday afternoons from 3.45pm to 6.45pm, and on Tuesday afternoons from 3.45pm to 5.45pm. A Friday afternoon class will also be available from August, running from 3.45 to 6.45pm. The centre is located at 191 McKinnon Road, McKinnon, VIC 3204.
