Kumon Awards Students Studying Five Years Ahead of School Grade
This November, over 250 Australian and 114 New Zealand students will be recognised for studying five or more years above their school grade level, at the 2016 annual Kumon Advanced Student Forum events.
With the theme ‘Celebrating Kumon’s Brightest Sparks’, these events acknowledge Kumon’s most advanced students on their achievements.
Over 900 students will be attending the Advanced Student Forum award ceremonies in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Auckland for academic excellence in English and maths.
Students invited to the forums have developed exceptional academic skills and are independently studying maths or English material five (or more) years above their grade level. Programme graduates are also invited to the forum to be presented with their graduation plaque.
On the day, students will be recognised for their tenacity and perseverance and for challenging themselves every day through the Kumon worksheets. These young learners are establishing exceptional study habits now, for their future learning success.
The amazing ability of these students is a testament to Toru Kumon’s belief that, “There is no limit to how high one can advance through self-learning”.
