Kumon Ocean Reef Education Centre, in Perth’s northern suburbs, is now operating under the guidance of a new Instructor, Janet Gan.

Janet comes from a career background in banking and accounting, and also has experience in working in a family business related to education. She is also a Kumon parent who saw the impacts of the programme on her own two children. This inspired her to own and operate her own Kumon centre for the benefit of the Ocean Reef community.

“I chose to become a Kumon Instructor because of my deep passion for education and the profound impact it can have on shaping young minds”, Janet says. “My two children have been enrolled in Kumon for the past 10 years, and through this journey, I have seen firsthand how effective the Kumon Method is in building strong academic foundations, fostering independent learning, and developing confidence.”

“Knowing how much Kumon has benefited my own children, I am inspired to share this opportunity with other families in my community and help their children achieve their potential.”

Kumon Ocean Reef is located at Mater Dei Collage, 107 Treetop Ave, Edgewater. WA 6027. Classes operate on Monday and Friday afternoons from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
