Kumon Forest Lake Education Centre, located in outer southwest Brisbane, is now operating under the guidance of a new Instructor, Archana Naidu.

Following a 15-year career in corporate finance, Archana takes the reins of Kumon Forest Lake to contribute to the learning of children in her local community in a structured and supportive manner.

“My 15-year background in finance was built on logic and data. Kumon uses that same structured, step-by-step approach to help children succeed,” Archana explains.

“Taking over an existing centre allows me to immediately support families who value education. I wanted to shift my skills from corporate finance to making a real, lasting impact on children’s confidence and learning.”

Archana is also a Kumon parent herself and has seen the benefits of the programme in her own child. She looks forward to helping even more children learn and develop through Kumon.

“As a Kumon parent, I have seen the magic of the programme firsthand,” Archana explains. “In the beginning, it takes a little time to build the daily habit. However, once that routine is set, the rewards are amazing.”

“You will watch your child transition from needing help to independently finishing their work with pride. I am not just running this centre as an Instructor; I am here as a fellow parent who understands the journey and is fully committed to supporting families every step of the way.”

Kumon Forest Lake is located at Shop 8B, 200 Grand Avenue, Forest Lake, QLD 4078. Classes operate on Mondays and Thursdays from 3pm to 5pm, and Tuesdays and Fridays from 3pm to 6:30pm.
