Kumon Dandenong North Education Centre, in Melbourne’s outer southeast, is now operating under the guidance of a new Instructor, Nikhil Dasari.
Nikhil is a former aerospace engineer who discovered his passion for children’s education following his 5-year stint as a stay-at-home father. During this time, Nikhil was deeply involved in his own children’s learning. This motivated him to become the new Instructor of Kumon Dandenong North in order to make a long-term, positive impact for local children.
“I wanted to build something more personally meaningful, a way to make a long-term impact on young minds,” Nikhil says. “I was drawn to Kumon’s structured, proven method and its focus on self-learning.”
“Becoming an Instructor at Kumon Dandenong North allows me to guide students to discover their potential and develop the discipline and problem-solving mindset essential for lifelong success.”
Nikhil is confident that Kumon Dandenong North will serve the educational needs of the local community, and looks forward to welcome many new students to the centre.
“Having lived in this area for several years, I understand the aspirations and diversity of the Dandenong North community”, Nikhil says. “As a parent myself, I share the same desire to see children grow confident, capable, and curious. I aim to make our centre a trusted learning space where families feel supported, valued, and encouraged to nurture their child’s potential.”

Kumon Dandenong North is located at Faith Christian Church, Community Centre, 307 Gladstone Road, Dandenong North, VIC, 3175. Classes operate on Monday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
