Kumon Ocean Reef Education Centre, in Perth’s north, is taking its next step by moving into a new learning space.
Instructor Janet Gan is moving Kumon Ocean Reef from its current venue at Mater Dei College to Northgate Currambine, 4/94 Delamere Avenue, Currambine, WA 6028. Kumon Ocean Reef is also being renamed to Kumon Currambine Education Centre to reflect the new location.
Through moving into a permanent venue, Kumon Currambine can now offer more classes to local families. The centre is expanding from two to four days of operation, with classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 3:30pm to 6pm.
Janet Gan, Instructor of Kumon Currambine Education Centre, is confident that the new venue will be of great benefit to the learning and development of her students.
“The new commercial space is more spacious, welcoming, and designed specifically for learning”, Janet explains.
“It allows us to accommodate more students comfortably, create a structured layout for smooth operations, and provide a more focused and enriching environment that supports concentration and growth.”
“We have chosen to move into a commercial venue so we can reach out to more people and create greater awareness about what Kumon offers. It also gives us a more professional and comfortable space, which is an exciting new chapter for our centre.”
Janet now looks forward to welcoming more students to Kumon Currambine, and seeing each and every one of them thrive.
“I really want students to walk away with more than just academic skills”, Janet says. “I hope they gain confidence in themselves, learn to work through challenges, and feel proud of what they achieve. It’s amazing to see when a child realises, “’I can do this on my own!’, that moment is so powerful.”
“For families, I want them to see that learning is a journey, and that with consistent effort, their kids are developing life skills like independence, resilience, and focus.”
