Kumon coming soon to Armadale, WA

kumon armadale maths readingKumon is coming soon to Armadale, in Perth’s outer southeast, to help all local children develop confidence in the basics of maths and reading.

Kumon Armadale Education Centre will be led by Princess Simeon, who has a 15-year long career in software engineering, spanning three countries. Princess is also a Kumon parent, seeing firsthand the benefits of the programme in her own daughter. This motivated Princess to establish Kumon Armadale.

“Kumon helped my daughter build confidence, strengthen her mathematics skills, and develop valuable self-learning habits,” Princess says. “Seeing her progress inspired me to become a Kumon Instructor. I want to help other families experience the same growth and make Kumon a meaningful part of their children’s educational journey.”

Princess is also confident that Kumon Armadale will become a key pillar of educational support for the local community.

“A Kumon centre enables students in Armadale and the surrounding areas to develop daily self-learning habits, bridge any learning gaps in maths and English, and build the resilience needed to tackle advanced schoolwork with ease,” Princess explains.

Kumon Armadale will be located at Armadale Central Shopping Centre, Shop 11, 10 Orchard Avenue, Armadale WA 6112. Classes operate on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, and on Saturdays from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Princess looks forward to welcoming many new students to the centre.

“I look forward to building relationships with local families, schools and community organisations to be able to create a connection and a welcoming learning environment for the children in the centre making a positive contribution to the local community,” Princess says.
