Kumon Miranda Education Centre, in Sydney’s south, is now operating under the guidance of a new Instructor, Rumi Vallejo.

Rumi, is a former Kumon centre assistant with four years’ experience and has been a Kumon parent for 10 years. She also worked in accounting, prior to her current role. Now, Rumi is looking forward to pursuing her passion of nurturing young minds.

“Through Kumon, I discovered how much I enjoy supporting children’s learning and growth,” Rumi says. “It’s something I genuinely look forward to each day.”

Rumi is also a familiar face to many Kumon Miranda families and has built strong relationships with many of them.

“I feel genuinely connected to the families in our local community,” Rumi says.

Now, Rumi looks forwarded to deepening these connections even further and welcoming many more families to Kumon Miranda.

“I’m excited to continue supporting our students and families as I take on the legacy of 41 years of experience at Kumon Miranda, built by Suzie [the previous Instructor]”, Rumi says. “I hope to create a warm, encouraging space where children feel supported and motivated to grow, not just academically, but as confident, independent learners.”

Kumon Miranda is located at Suite 5/31-41, Kiora Road, Miranda, NSW 2228. Classes operate on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:15pm to 7pm, and on Friday afternoons from 3:15pm to 6:15pm.

Rumi is confident that Kumon can help all students to strengthen their maths and English skills, as well as grow in overall academic ability.
