Kumon Correspondence

Constant communication with students and families is the key to correspondence study. By using the telephone, fax, e-mail or postal service or a combination of all four, your correspondence Instructor maintains regular contact. Our motto is "if our students are working, we are working".

The three-way partnership between the parents, the Instructor and the student is particularly strong in a correspondence situation. The support, advice and encouragement that this partnership generates is the basis for successful and happy students, working towards realising their individual potential.

The worksheets themselves are deliberately designed to be portable. Just like picking up a book to read, students can complete their worksheets anywhere and anytime. Worksheet sets are light, small and durable. This is perfect for the range of locations where Kumon study is done.

The Instructor focuses on providing worksheets and support at a level that is “just right” for each student. If you as a student need help, you will receive it thoroughly. If you need more practice in certain areas, you can do it. Geography is no barrier to the Kumon Method.

While students master each concept of maths and English, Kumon places strong emphasis on students learning how to learn. Kumon study develops concentration skills and the ability to focus, a daily study routine and learning confidence. It also develops thinking skills and analysis skills through careful study of examples and correction of any errors.
